Broad Meadow Farm

Broad Meadow Farm is a group of dedicated dressage riders who work under the careful and compassionate eye of Pat Eidel Schmoll. The emphasis is on keeping sound and healthy horses who are able to progress up the levels because they are conditioned correctly, and trained in a coherent comprehensive manner. Pat has successfully trained horses through Prix St George level and competed through Intermediare.

Pat has had many years of training with Karl Mikolka, and has continued her education throughout the years under Herbert Rehbein, Rein Vandershaaft and more recently with bi-yearly clinics with Carsten Vesterskov, a Danish GP trainer and rider.

We have a small group of international riders here at our farm. We use the services of Lauren Schweppe for our jumpers. This past season Pat’s daughter Evi Smith showed at HITS with her own young jumper Oops and had a very successful season.

At Broad Meadow Farm, we offer boarding in large airy stalls. We take pride in how we manage our horses, and feel that the well being of the horses plays a huge roll in how they respond to training. Each horse treated as an individual, owners welcome at any time.

We offer partial and full training packages. Our horses have ample turn out time, and stable is a relaxed and peaceful place as well. We have fun with our training and the horses have positive out looks as well!
