Obstacle/Horsemanship Clinic

This is an obstacle clinic. There will be 15-20 obstacles and other challenges to test your horsemanship skills. Your horse should have good basic ground manners and you should be able to safely handle your animal in a group. I understand this is a clinic and some animals and their rider/handler will need some help to improve and build on their ground manners and handling skills. This clinic is appropriate for anyone who is interested in building trust, confidence and a better relationship with their horse regardless of discipline or style of riding.

There will be limited stabling available. Let us know if you need a stall.   Everyone is required to wear an ASTM approved helmet when in the work area whether mounted or not.   Auditors and clinic participants should bring a chair and their own food and drinks.

Carsten Vesterskov

Each year Broad Meadow Farm hosts Carsten Vesterskov, the Trainer of the Danish Silver Medal Junior Rider. He has trained many horses to FEI levels and works well with all levels of horse and rider. Carsten is an excellent clinician, and will work with any level horse and rider. We sponsor this clinic because we believe that this is a wonderful opportunity to get a different perspective from a very qualified trainer!

Carsten trained in Germany with Jurgen Koschel, and has been running an active and successful training business in Denmark for the past 20 years. We invite riders of every skill level to join us for a fun, inspirational and informative clinic!
